The Town of Newport has an opening for the position of Town Manager. We are a service center community located in Central Maine with a population of 3,200 and a municipal budget of  5 million. Municipal management experience is preferred with a background in personnel management and software applications which include utililization of Trio / Harris Municipal software. Our current departments include Police, Fire, Ambulance, Public Works, Solid Waste, Library, Administration,  and Recreation.
