The Freeport Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Transfer Station Attendant. Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters who can work both independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience operating light trucks and small construction-related motorized equipment. Prior experience in municipal Transfer Station or Recycling Center operations is a plus. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

This vacancy is for a 40 hour/week position at $19.35 per hour.
