The Town of Ogunquit, “Beautiful Place by the Sea,” is seeking applicants for career Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/A-EMT (Paramedic preferred) for its Fire-Rescue Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to response to Fire & EMS incidents, life safety inspections, station & equipment maintenance, fire prevention training, record keeping, Fire & EMS training and other duties assigned.

Salary range $57,874.25 - $81,010.44 with comprehensive benefits package as defined in the Firefighter union contract. The typical work week is a 42-hour average, paid weekly. The set schedule is 24 hours on - 48 hours off - 24 hours on - 96 hours off.

Applicants must complete a physical agility test, oral interview, and background check. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit an application for consideration.

 AEMT wage range:   $57,874.25 to $72,715.13 
 Paramedic wage range: $62,598.68 to $81,010.44

Lateral entry is available at the Fire Chief's discretion for wages and benefits based on training, certifications, and experience.
