Stewardship Program for Packaging Draft Rule Reposted for Additional Comment

The Chapter 428 draft rule was posted for public comment in February 2024. In response to comments received from the public and the Board of Environmental Protection, the Department made changes to the draft rule and reposted the draft rule to provide an opportunity for additional public comment. Working Waterfront Resilience Grant Program Awardees

Governor Janet Mills has announced that 68 Maine working waterfronts are set to receive $21.2 million in resilience grants from the State of Maine to support recovery and rebuilding from damage caused by devastating storms this past winter. The Maine DEP is Now Accepting Proposals for Waste Diversion Grants

MaineDOT Seeking Feedback – Mileage-Based User Fee

77th Annual Maine Property Tax School

The University of Maine Augusta will host the 2024 Property Tax School at their Augusta campus.  The program will run from Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2, 2024. The Property Tax School provides training for Maine assessing professionals but is open to anyone with an interest in property tax assessment and administration.
