Transfer Station Manager



The Town of Monmouth is seeking a part time transfer station manager to oversee all facility operations.  This position involves record keeping, maintenance of equipment, assisting the citizens of Monmouth and Wales in the collection and disposal of municipal solid waste and supervision of two part-time employees. Significant public contact is required, some of which may be adversarial in nature.  For this reason, it is imperative that the successful candidate keep a calm, professional demeanor at all times.  Previous transfer station and supervisory experience is preferred. Transfer Station certifications are required or must be obtained within six months from date of hire.
