Solid Waste/Recycling Director

The Town of Dover-Foxcroft seeks candidates for Solid Waste/Recycling Director.

The Solid Waste/Recycling Director supervises and coordinates all activities and operations to include administering departmental policies, planning departmental work priorities, and implementing work and safety programs. This position is responsible for budgeting and administering the budget throughout the year as well as keeping accurate record keeping. This position is a hands-on position to include operating all equipment as well as heavy equipment.

The successful candidate must have a proven ability to lead, manage, motivate and direct the activities of the department’s personnel. The preferred candidate will have the required state mandated trainings, certifications and increasing supervisory experience.
