Assistant Town Planner



The Town of Topsham seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (37.5 hours per week) position of Assistant Town Planner. Under the general supervision of the Planning Director, this position will assist in developing programs, policies and initiatives to advance the town’s goals to be equitable, resilient and implement it’s 2019 adopted comprehensive plan. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in public policy, community planning & development, environmental studies or a related field as well as three years of experience in land use planning, sustainability/ resiliency planning; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
