EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III

w/Class B CDL

$22.11 / Hour, Plus Eligible Stipends

Description:  The Town of Yarmouth is currently accepting applications for the position of Equipment Operator III.  The position requires both physical labor, and skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation of heavy equipment and maintenance of Town roads and infrastructure.

Requirements: Experience in operating heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, street sweepers, dozers, Class B plow trucks and dump trucks. Class B CDL w/Tank Endorsement required (Class A preferred).  A strong work ethic and a dedication to customer service is a must.

Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply, as the Town may consider training individuals with similar skillsets and experience.

Salary & Benefits:  Starting pay for the Class III Equipment Operator position is $22.11/Hr., plus eligible stipends.  In addition to competitive pay and excellent benefits, the Town also provides ongoing training, 4-day workweek in the summer, 13 paid holidays, paid stipends, safety bonus, clothing allowance and more.
