Town of Skowhegan - Water Pollution Control Plant - Maintenance Mechanic

 

 

The Town of Skowhegan is currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic at the Town of Skowhegan Water Pollution Control Plant.  The ideal candidate will have a wide range of experience with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and repair and be able to maintain records of the work performed. Experience with pumps and other wastewater treatment-related equipment is preferrebut is not required. This individual will often work independently and must be a self- starter and able to prioritize the work schedule. Will be on call every third week and must respond to any alarm calls within 45 minutes of being paged. Must possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent and the physical strength and agility to perform the duties of the job. A State of Maine Class B driver’s license must be obtained within six months of the date of hire.
