Document Center Technician

Maine Public Employees Retirement System seeks a full time Document Center Technician to join the department in Augusta, Maine.

Primary job duties include: Must be able to multi task with focus an attention to detail. This position is responsible for processing incoming documents in to the V3 imaging system for retention, retrieval, and triggering workflows to the business units. Other duties include responsibility for both incoming and outgoing mail providing support to business units in their daily work. The position is responsible for the functionality of a comprehensive document storage and retrieval program directed at assuring quality, security and integrity of data. Duties include providing courier and mail services, tracks and processes incoming payments and maintains a stockroom of office supplies and forms. Work is performed under the leadership of the unit Senior Technician and Director of Administration. The position also performs a full range of support tasks performed under general supervision according to established criteria and procedures.

Required Minimum qualifications: A high school degree or equivalent, Four (4) years of experience in an office environment, Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, Maine driver’s license in good standing, Use of personal vehicle daily.

Preferred qualifications: Experience using digital imaging equipment, Associates Degree in a related field.

Benefits: Salary begins $37,544 annualized.
