Cathy will become MMA’s new Executive Director on August 9th. Most recently, Cathy was the City Manager of Bangor and prior to that, the Town Manager in Orono. Cathy will divulge the secrets to her success, including how to approach contract negotiations and bargain for the job you really want.
Everything You Need to Know About FMLA: Alyssa Tibbetts
Alyssa is a mother of two, an attorney specializing in government services and employment/labor law and was previously the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Cumberland. In addition to FMLA, Alyssa will also cover a variety of legal issues relevant to women in the workplace, including breastfeeding laws, equal pay, gender discrimination and sexual harassment.
