The Town of Arundel is seeking to fill the position of a Full-Time Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector.  This position will be responsible for the day-to-day transactions such as Motor Vehicle Registrations, Inland Fisheries Licenses and Registrations, Dog Registrations, Vital Records, Tax Payments and more.  You will also act as the Deputy Registrar of Voters, registering new voters and helping out at Elections.  The ideal candidate will have strong computer, math and customer services skills and enjoy working with the public.  Additionally, the candidate must possess an attention to detail, organizational skills, cash handling experience, ability to maintain records, work accurately and independently, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.  Experience in TRIO software, prior Municipal experience and a Notary Public certification is a benefit but not required.

The Town of Arundel is on a Monday thru Thursday work week with hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  The starting wage for this position will be between $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and offers a comprehensive benefit package.
