The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Brunswick seeks candidates for a seasonal Park Ranger position.
The ideal candidate will have proven and demonstrated supervisory skills and a strong background in safety and customer service. Additional requirements include attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; provides a positive and helpful attitude while working with the public. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons, assist park users, discourage misuse of park property, and represent a positive image in the community. Patrol areas include town parks, trails, bike/pedestrian trail, open spaces, boat launches, athletic facilities and waterfront boat landings and parking areas.
Individuals in these positions provide a uniformed presence in the town’s park system and receive orientation and training with the town’s human resources, police, and parks & recreation departments.
This is a seasonal full-time position and will work an average 40 hour work week from May 22 – October 31. This position will pay $19.75 per hour, based off experience.
