City of Portland - Forestry Grounskeeper - Seasonal

Summer season through November, full-time schedule (40 hours/week). Possibly open to Part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting Forestry crews with tree and landscape maintenance. Duties include tree planting, watering, pruning, mulching and landscape maintenance.

Requirements:

• Prior tree or landscape experience and/or education desired.

• Responsibility, maturity, dedication and the ability to work in varied weather conditions are a must.

• A valid Maine Class C driver’s license is, and a Department of Motor Vehicle check will be conducted on those who have one.

Pay starting at $18.00/hr.
